In fact, during the preparations for the T20 World Cup, Hardik Pandya spent many nights training at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He often continued practicing till midnight. During that time, Pandya had promised the ground staff, who had supported him tirelessly, that he would reward them when he returned. Now just before the start of IPL, the Mumbai Indians captain has kept his promise. He has given a reward of Rs 10 lakh to every member of the groundstaff.

According to reports, the Indian all-rounder honored the MCA groundstaff at Wankhede on Thursday, and appreciated the role they played during that grueling training session.
