The clip is from last night’s match at Arun Jaitley Stadium, where the fan, wearing a Virat Kohli jersey, ran toward Pandya and tried to hug him. Pandya remained calm, and security quickly intervened to escort the fan off the field. The match then resumed smoothly. Well, on the field, Hardik was clearly showered with love from fans.

Off the field, Hardik Pandya received flowers ahead of Valentine’s Day from his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma. She took to Instagram Stories to show how she made Hardik’s day special, gifting him a huge bouquet of red roses and announcing her arrival in Delhi to celebrate India’s win.

She called him the “Man of the match of my life,” to which Pandya sweetly responded, “Valentine and my baby’s birthday week starts ❤️.” Well, it just goes to show that men, too, deserve flowers, and this is how Mahieka and Hardik are indulging in some PDA.

Ahead of the match, Mahieka also shared a picture of Pandya holding the giant red rose bouquet in what appears to be his hotel room, marking their Valentine’s Week celebrations ahead of February 14.

Coming back to Team India’s win, with this victory, India tops Group A and is in a strong position to qualify for the Super 8 stage. Their next challenge will be against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, after the opponents’ proposed boycott was called off, in the tournament’s highest-profile match so far.
