Harley-Davidson: Harley-Davidson launches the cheapest bike, take it home for just this price
Harley-Davidson: Harley-Davidson has launched its second smallest motorcycle X440T in the Indian market. This model is based on the already existing X440 platform, but many important changes have been made in its design and features. The company has also introduced the updated cruiser line-up along with it. The price of the new Harley-Davidson X440T in the Indian market has been kept at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about design, the look of X440T is quite different and more street-focused from its standard model X440. There are many design elements in it that remind of Harley XR1200. The rear section of the bike is quite unique, with a large fender giving it a muscular appeal. The seat has been redesigned to provide better comfort to both rider and pillion. Also, big grab handles are provided at the back. The new bike is available in attractive color options like Pearl Blue, Pearl Red, Vivid Black and Pearl White.
In terms of features, the X440T largely matches the front profile of the Riding technology has also been improved. It gets a ride-by-wire system with a new electronic throttle body, traction control, switchable rear ABS, and two riding modes – Road and Rain.
Talking about powertrain, the bike has a 440cc single-cylinder air-oil-cooled engine, which generates power of 27 bhp and torque of 38 Nm. According to the company, its mileage is around 35 kmpl. The bike comes with 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, while its wheelbase is 1,418 mm and ground clearance is 170 mm, making it suitable for Indian roads.
