Harmanpreet’s historic feat in WPL, completed 1000 runs
Mumbai. Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur has achieved the feat of completing 1000 runs in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Harmanpreet Kaur achieved this feat by scoring an unbeaten 71 in the WPL match against Gujarat Giants on Tuesday.
Player of the Match: Harman hit seven fours and two sixes in his innings of 43 balls. Harman has become the second batsman to achieve this feat. Before him, his teammate Nate Shiver Brunt had achieved this feat.
Shiv Brunt has 1101 runs in 31 matches and Harman has 1016 runs in 30 matches. This was Harman’s 10th half-century in the WPL and he now has the most number of half-centuries in the WPL. Shivers Brunt and Meg Lanning are at second place with nine half-centuries each.
