Harris vows to “reform America's immigration system”

Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential election in November has pledged to implement strict security measures on the border and strengthen America's immigration system.

Harris said this while responding to repeated political attacks on her by her rival and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump on this issue.

US Vice President Harris made this comment after visiting the US-Mexico border in Douglas, Arizona.

Along with taking a tough stance on border security, Harris also said she would take steps to provide “citizenship” to immigrants currently living in the US.

Harris said, “After becoming President, I will work with Congress to provide citizenship to immigrants who have been living and working here for years.”

Harris went to Arizona to review the security situation on America's southern borders.

“After becoming President, I will put politics aside to strengthen the immigration system and address long-standing problems…these issues are very important to our country,” she said.
