Harry Styles opens BRITs with electrifying ‘Aperture’ performance

Harry Styles kick-started the 2026 BRIT Awards with an electrifying performance of his new single Aperture with his sultry voice and groovy choreography.

On Saturday, February 28, the Grammy-winning singer was introduced by a video montage of host Jack Whitehall running to Style’s breakthrough solo hit Sign of the Times.

“Did you know Harry ran marathons?” he said in the montage, and reached towards the night’s biggest attraction, Style’s performance.

Thereafter, the One Direction alum started the show of his new single in a blistering performance, marking his first time since July 2023.

Styles is set to release is fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionallyon Friday.

Before the ceremony started, Styles graced the red carpet with a new vintage-inspired look, which was womenswear-focused.

Style arrived on the red carpet in an oversized black pinstriped suit featuring a double-breasted blazer that sits slightly boxy on the shoulders, while the matching trousers fall loose and wide.

The One Direction alum completed the ensemble with a pale mint pinstriped shirt, a coordinating striped tie, and classic bow-detailed ballet flats, each piece courtesy of Chanel.

Vogue reports that the suit hails from the French fashion house’s Métiers d’Art 2026 collection.
