Harsha Richhariya shared a video on Instagram in which she said, “The story that started from Mahakumbh 2025 is now coming to an end. In this one year, I have faced continuous opposition. It started in Prayagraj, and I thought the situation would improve after Mahakumbh, but it never happened.” He further said that despite following the path of religion with good intentions, he was constantly stopped and discouraged.
“I was not doing anything wrong. I was not stealing, not looting, not committing crimes. Yet, every step I took towards spirituality was stopped. My morale was broken again and again.” “I have only debt left, nothing else.”
Harsha also addressed the claims that she earned a lot of money after becoming famous at the Mahakumbh. She said, “People think that I made crores of rupees by turning religion into a business after the Mahakumbh. The truth is that today I am in huge debt. Earlier, when I used to work as an anchor, I was proud of my profession. I used to earn well, more in abroad than in India. I was happy.”
He further said, “After choosing this path, I am left with nothing but loans. No support. No one standing with me. For the last one year, every effort of mine has been opposed. The same happened to me in this Magh Mela too, which broke me emotionally.” “I am not Sita who will give the test of fire.”
In the most powerful part of her statement, Harsha said, “I have not done anything to deserve so much hatred. In our country, if you cannot break the courage of a woman, it is very easy to spoil her character. You keep your religion to yourself. I am not Sita who will give the Agni Pariksha.”
She further announced, “I will take a holy dip in this Magh Mela and then completely put a halt to my decision to follow this spiritual path. I will go back to my work — where there is respect, no debt, and no tarnishing of character.”
