Haryana: ACB team’s action in Haryana, 2 forest department employees arrested for taking bribe
Haryana News: Taking a major action against corruption, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Ambala, Haryana has arrested Wildlife Department Inspector Rakesh Kumar and his driver Bharat red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 30 thousand.
Demand of 50 thousand, deal finalized for 40 thousand
According to the information received from ACB, the inspector allegedly started pressurizing a person named Sandeep, who runs a dog and pig farm, regarding the meat kept for animal fodder. It is alleged that by showing fear of legal action, Rs 50,000 was demanded from him and he was threatened that if he did not pay the amount, he could face 20 years in jail.
Later a deal was finalized between the two for Rs 40 thousand. The inspector had already taken Rs 10,000 and Sandeep was called to the office for the remaining Rs 30,000.

As soon as the inspector and his driver took the amount of Rs 30 thousand, the team of Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau raided the spot and arrested both of them.
According to ACB officials, the entire operation was conducted under trap. At present, further legal process is being completed by taking both the accused into custody.
