Haryana: Big action by Minister in Haryana, Assistant Registrar suspended

Haryana News: In Mahendragarh, Haryana, Cooperative Minister Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, taking a tough stance on negligence, has ordered the suspension of Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS) Praveen Kumar. This action was taken in case of not taking timely action on a complaint. The minister was presiding over the monthly grievance redressal meeting held at the district auditorium on Thursday.

A total of 15 complaints were put up for hearing in the meeting. The Minister gave clear instructions to the officials that fairness and transparency should be maintained in the disposal of public complaints, any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.

Case of land grabbing of society became the reason
During the hearing, a dispute related to the land of Tanners Small Enterprises Cooperative Society, Mahendragarh came up. Complainants Haridwari Lal, Krishna Chand, Sunil Kumar, Naresh, Kaushalya Devi, Ichha Devi and Imarti Devi alleged that elections were not conducted for the genuine members of the society and elections were conducted for some other people of Charkhi Dadri. Allegations were also made about the involvement of an NRI in this entire matter.

Former District Councilor Kuldeep Yadav, while representing the members of the firm before the Minister, alleged that Assistant Registrar Praveen Kumar did not take impartial action on the complaint and took the side of the accused. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the Cooperation Minister gave instructions to suspend ARCS Praveen Kumar with immediate effect.

Message of strict action against negligent officers
Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma clearly said that if any officer is negligent in his duties, strict action will be taken against him. He warned the officials that no laxity will be accepted in resolving the complaints of the general public.

Instructions for road audit and vigilance investigation
In the meeting, the Cooperation Minister ordered to conduct audit of all the roads built by Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board in Mahendragarh district in the year 2025. Taking cognizance of the complaint of Umeed Jan Sahyog Foundation, instructions were also given to take samples of the roads.

Apart from this, on the complaint related to cleaning of drain in Nizampur, orders were given to complete the cleaning work within 15 days. Instructions were also issued to conduct vigilance investigation within a month on the complaint of negligence in the development works of Gram Panchayat in village Barkauda.

Many cases settled on the spot
The minister resolved most of the complaints on the spot, while in the remaining cases he directed the concerned officers to submit reports by setting a time limit.

MLA Omprakash Yadav, Mahendragarh MLA Kanwar Singh Yadav, Narnaul Municipal Council Chairperson Kamlesh Saini, BJP District President Yatendra Yadav, former District President Rakesh Sharma Advocate and Dayaram Yadav and other officials and public representatives were present in the meeting.
