Haryana: Big update regarding Lado Laxmi Yojana in Haryana, now these women will also get Rs 2100

Haryana Lado Laxmi Yojana: Haryana Government has made important changes in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Lado Lakshmi Yojana, giving relief to poor and needy women in the beginning of the new year. The aim of the government is that more and more women should come under the ambit of this scheme and they can be economically empowered.

Under the new decision of the government, now mothers of children who have scored more than 80 percent marks in class 10th and 12th will also get the benefit of the scheme. Such women, whose annual family income is up to Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand, will be given monthly assistance of Rs 2100. Earlier this benefit was being given only to women with annual income up to Rs 1 lakh.

After the Haryana Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini informed about these changes. He informed that women who have received gradation under the NIPUN scheme, as well as mothers raising children from malnutrition and anemia will now also be covered under the scheme, provided their annual income is up to Rs 1.80 lakh.

The Chief Minister also clarified that the format of the amount of Rs 2100 to be received under the scheme has also been changed. Now women will be given Rs 1100 directly into their accounts every month, while the remaining Rs 1000 will be deposited by the government as recurring deposit or fixed deposit. With this, women will also get additional benefit of interest in future.

The government has also made a provision that if there is an untimely death of a female beneficiary, the entire amount of the deposit will be immediately released to her nominee. The government believes that these changes will not only strengthen the economic security of women, but will also promote the education and health of daughters.
