Haryana Cabinet Meeting: The Haryana Cabinet meeting has ended, in which many major decisions have been taken. Chief Minister Nayab Saini gave this information through a press conference. Know what decisions were taken-

A total of 21 agendas were placed in today’s meeting, out of which 19 were approved.
Discussion was held in the meeting regarding holding winter session of the Assembly.
It was agreed to start the winter session from December 18.
Cabinet approves changing tehsil of villages in 6 districts
In order to provide better services to the citizens at the grassroots level, the meeting approved the transfer of 17 villages and sectors of 6 districts from one tehsil to another.
Demand came to the government from local people and public representatives
For which Haryana Government constituted a high level committee
After considering all the parameters, the committee recommended the transfer of villages from one tehsil to another.
In the cabinet meeting, the proposal to fix the period of tourist vehicles running under tourist permit was also approved.
The maximum period of All India Tourist Permit for petrol or CNG vehicles running in NCR region has been fixed at 12 years.
The maximum period for diesel vehicles in this category has been fixed at 10 years.
Under All India Tourist Permit, the period for petrol, CNG and diesel vehicles in non-NCR areas has been fixed at 12 years.
The maximum period for vehicles running on petrol, CNG, electric or other fuels in the NCR region on other permits has been fixed at 15 years.
Maximum period fixed for diesel vehicles at 10 years
The maximum period for other permits for all types of vehicles in non-NCR areas has been fixed at 15 years.
Cabinet approves new Act for Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils and Municipalities
Presently there are 87 municipalities, which are operating under different Acts.
Keeping this in mind, a new act, Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 2025 was brought.
The new unified Act aims to bring all categories of municipal bodies such as municipal corporations, municipal councils and municipalities under a single legal framework.
Amendments to HCS (Executive Branch) rules approved
The first 4 papers of HCS main examination have now been replaced by 6 papers, which will have a total of 600 marks.
Now paper English and paper Hindi will be of 100-100 marks, apart from this, now there will be 4 General Studies papers and each paper will be of 100-100 marks.
Amendment in Punjab Police Rules, 1934 (applicable to Haryana) for constable and sub-inspector recruitment approved
Now those with NCC certificate will get additional weightage. ‘A’ certificate will get 1 mark, ‘B’ certificate will get 2 marks and ‘C’ certificate will get 3 marks.
Now Haryana Staff Selection Commission will shortlist ten times the number of advertised posts of each category from among the candidates qualified in Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST) who will be called for Knowledge Test.
Knowledge test will have 97 percent weightage

Changes in Haryana Motor Vehicle Rules approved for granting aggregator license
Proposal to make changes in Haryana Motor Vehicle Rules for granting aggregator license approved
Haryana Motor Vehicle Rules were changed by adopting these guidelines by the Transport Department
As per the guidelines of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, aggregators like Ola, Uber etc. will be able to include only vehicles running on green energy in their fleet from January 1, 2026.
In this regard, an elite mobility portal is also being created by the transport department, in which details of all the vehicles of the license holder will be kept.
This will reduce pollution in the National Capital Region and also improve air quality.
Draft bill to amend Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006 approved
The objective is to empower the private university authorities to dissolve, punish and appoint administrators for management if academic standards are not maintained.
New modern and transparent cadre change policy 2025 approved for district teachers
This policy will be applicable to District Teachers (PRT, JBT, HT, C&V)
Cadre change will be voluntary, new district will be allotted on the basis of merit marks
In this, age has been made the main basis, in which maximum 60 marks have been fixed.
Provision was made to give additional 20 marks to women teachers and teachers of special categories.
The recommendations of the Haryana Rationalization Commission to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Mines and Geology Department were approved today.
Haryana Rationalization Commission recommended increasing the number of sanctioned posts in the department from 632 to 890.
This will help in real-time monitoring as well as curbing illegal mining.
Cabinet today approved to provide relief to the allottees of Agro Mall, Rohtak.
Allottees who do not wish to retain the allotted site will be offered a refund of the deposited amount with 7 per cent annual interest.
Allottees who wish to keep shops will be allowed to deposit the outstanding amount as per the Board’s Scheme for Resolution of Disputes-II
Cabinet approves Draft Service Rules for Group A, B and C posts for Directorate of State Accounts, Haryana
A total of 535 posts are sanctioned in the Directorate, which includes 4 posts of Group ‘A’, 107 posts of Group ‘B’, 395 posts of Group ‘C’ and 29 posts of Group ‘D’.
