Haryana: Charge sheet filed against XEN in Haryana, know the reason
Haryana News: A meeting of the Grievance Committee was held on Saturday at Bal Bhawan in Rewari, Haryana, in which Industry and Commerce Minister Vipul Goyal heard the complaints of the people. When negligence in work was revealed during the meeting, orders were given to chargesheet the XEN of the Municipal Council and issue a show cause notice to the District Town Planner (DTP).
A total of 13 complaints were presented in the meeting, out of which 7 were resolved on the spot. For the first time, instructions were given to the concerned officers to take time bound action on the six complaints received. The Minister clearly said that the contractors involved in negligence or irregularities in development work will not be spared under any circumstances and if necessary, they will be blacklisted.
Action on XEN on water problem of Sector-3
In the grievance meeting, the complaint regarding water problem of Sector-3 was heard. Municipal Council’s XEN Ankit Vashishtha could not give a satisfactory reply to the complaint. Minister Vipul Goyal expressed his displeasure on this and ordered to chargesheet him. The minister said that even before this, XEN had been warned about negligence in work, but now strict action has been taken due to lack of improvement.
DTP went on leave without notice
During the hearing on the complaint related to DTP department in the meeting, DTP Mandeep Sihag was found on leave without notice. Even the Deputy Commissioner was not aware of his leave. Considering this as serious negligence, the Minister directed the DTP to issue a show cause notice.
Strictness on the quality of development works
Minister Vipul Goyal said that till now no major complaint has been received regarding the quality of development works, but if irregularities are found anywhere, it will be investigated. He clarified that if any contractor’s work is found to be substandard, he will be blacklisted and his license will be cancelled.
Municipal elections will be held on time
Speaking to the media after the meeting, the minister said that the municipal elections will be conducted on time. The government has completed all the preparations and the process of reservation of wards and posts will be started as soon as the draw is held. Taking aim at Congress, he said that the opposition is trying to confuse the public.
Government’s efforts on mining issue
On a question related to mining, the minister said that this matter is under consideration in the Supreme Court. Haryana and Rajasthan governments are jointly trying to find a solution to this. Regarding the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, he said that this is a matter of the Central Government and the Center is keeping a close watch on it.
