The Chief Minister said that the participation of women in Haryana Police will be increased from the current 15 percent to 25 percent. Under this, 950 women policemen will be appointed in the ongoing recruitment process for 5750 posts in the Police Department.

Approval for recruitment of 550 additional women constables

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the government has also given approval for the recruitment of 550 additional women constables to the police department. This decision will not only provide new employment opportunities to women, but will also make law and order more sensitive, powerful and effective.

Emphasis on empowering police with technology

The Chief Minister said that it is very important for the police force to be updated with advanced technology with time. In this direction, the government has issued necessary instructions to install CCTV cameras in crime-sensitive areas, so that effective control of crime can be ensured.

CM shared achievements in security conference

CM Nayab Singh Saini chaired the state level security conference on the topic ‘Developed India – Security Dimensions’ held in Panchkula. During this, he said that in the last few years, Haryana Police has achieved remarkable success against interstate gangs, drug smugglers and cyber crime.

While sharing the figures, CM Nayab Singh Saini said that under Operation Hotspot Domination, more than 2 thousand criminals were arrested in just 12 days. In Operation Trek Town, 7,587 criminals were sent to jail and illegal assets worth Rs 168 crore were seized.

DGP OP Singh said that the role of technology in combating crime is very important. Success has been achieved in solving many big cases through CCTV and modern equipment. Quick implementation of Home Department’s recommendations

Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, Dr. Sumita Mishra informed that out of the 108 recommendations made in the DGP-IG conference last year, almost all have been implemented. This year, 107 new recommendations have been presented, on which the government is working seriously.
