Haryana: Good news for daughters in Haryana, government will give 71 thousand rupees

Haryana News: Haryana Government has run many schemes for the benefit of the people. One of these is Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided at the time of marriage, so that they can get support in meeting the marriage expenses.

From now on, only those beneficiaries will get the benefit of Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana, who have got their marriage registered online on e-Disha portal. This registration will have to be done within six months of the marriage. Haryana News

Scheduled Caste and Vimukt Caste families who are included in the BPL list will get a benefit of Rs 71 thousand.

Widows, destitute women, orphan children, people included in the BPL list, or whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand, will get a grant of Rs 51 thousand. A family belonging to general or backward class in BPL list will get a grant of Rs 31 thousand.

Scheduled Caste or Vimukt Caste families whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand will also get a grant of Rs 31 thousand. If one or both of the married couples are 40 percent or more disabled, they will get a grant of up to Rs 51,000. Haryana News

The beneficiary is required to register his/her daughter’s marriage on the e-Disha portal. Only after registering they can claim the benefits given under the scheme. Haryana News

To avail the benefits of the scheme, beneficiaries will have to submit proper documents, such as income certificate, name in the BPL list, and proof of marriage.
