Haryana News: Good news for railway passengers in Haryana, two trains got new stoppages.

Haryana News: A relief news has come out for the railway passengers of Haryana. Railways has accepted the years old demand of Mandi Adampur area and Siwani area. Now both these areas are going to get stoppages of important long distance trains, which will greatly improve the connectivity and facilities of the passengers.

Railways has approved stoppage of train number 12555 and 12556 Gorakhdham Express at Mandi Adampur railway station. Train numbers 14717 and 14718 Bikaner-Haridwar Express have been approved to stop at Siwani station. Official approval in this regard was issued by the Railway Ministry on Tuesday.

For a long time, the people of Adampur and Siwani, various social organizations and Railway Welfare Association were demanding the stoppage of these trains. Passengers said that due to lack of direct long distance trains from these areas, they had to depend on nearby big stations.

These new halts will provide convenience to passengers from Mandi Adampur and surrounding areas towards Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Eastern India. The stoppage of Bikaner-Haridwar Express at Siwani will strengthen connectivity with Haridwar, Bikaner and major cities on the route. Especially the travelers going to Haridwar for religious trips will now get direct benefits.

Bikaner–Haridwar Express train numbers 14717 and 14718 operate between Bikaner Junction and Haridwar. This train runs three days a week—Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It departs from Bikaner at night and reaches Haridwar by afternoon the next day. It already has stops at major stations like Hisar, Bhiwani, Panipat and Ambala on the route, and now Siwani has also been included.
