55 year old ‘Kala Pehalwan’ wins 42 KM Delhi Marathon, now eyeing 100 KM race

Uncle Sanjay Pehalwan: The soil of Haryana is not called the land of wrestlers for no reason. This time, 55-year-old Sanjay of village Jathedi, Sonipat, whom people fondly call Tau Sanjay alias Kala Pahalwan, has caught everyone’s attention with his brilliant achievement.

He proved that age is just a number by winning the gold medal in the 42 kilometer marathon held in Delhi. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the village and area after his victory. People are surprised to see the fitness of 55 year old uncle

The most special thing about Tau Sanjay is his desi style. They do not take the help of any expensive gym or modern machines. They work hard for 3 to 4 hours every day with the local items available at home. His diet is also completely simple and balanced.

He tells that in his childhood he had a dream of becoming a wrestler, but due to family circumstances that dream remained unfulfilled. When he started taking his son to the arena, his old passion resurfaced. From here he started working seriously on his fitness and today the result is in front of everyone.
