Haryana Weather: Bones are about to freeze! Next 24 hours heavy, Meteorological Department issues warning
Bone-chilling cold is occurring in many districts of Haryana. According to the latest bulletin of the Meteorological Department, ‘cold day’ conditions will prevail in most parts of the state on January 15. This means that the maximum temperature of the day will also be much below normal, due to which there will be no relief despite sunshine. In districts like Hisar, Narnaul and Rewari, the minimum temperature is expected to be between 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, while in some areas it may drop further.
Visibility reduced to zero: Dense fog slowed down speed
Along with cold, ‘white disaster’ i.e. dense fog has also increased the problems of the people. On the morning of January 15, in many national highways and cities of Haryana ‘Very Dense Fog’ (Very dense fog) is likely to prevail. Visibility may remain less than 50 meters in districts like Ambala, Kurukshetra and Karnal. The administration has advised drivers to be careful and use fog lights.
Will there be relief from rain? Know the situation of the next 72 hours
A big news for weather lovers is that due to the new Western Disturbance active in the mountains, the weather patterns may change. Snowfall will start in the Himalayan areas from the night of 15th January, the effect of which can be seen in the plains of Haryana on 16th and 17th January. It is estimated that after January 16, there may be a slight increase of 2-4 degrees in the minimum temperature, which may provide some relief from the severe cold wave.
Take precautions: The Health Department has advised the elderly and children to avoid the cold of morning and evening. Due to fog, trains and buses may also run late from their scheduled time.
