Haryana Weather: Heat started showing its effect in Haryana, temperature reached 35 degrees

Haryana Weather: With the beginning of March in Haryana, the heat has started showing its effects rapidly. In the very first week of the month, the temperature in many districts has reached 35 degrees Celsius, due to which people are facing heat in the afternoon. Meteorologists estimate that if this situation continues, the temperature in the state may reach 40 degrees Celsius during March. The maximum temperature recorded in Gurugram on Wednesday was 35 degrees Celsius, which is considered quite high for the initial days of this season.

An increase has also been recorded in the average maximum temperature of the state. According to the data, the average temperature has increased by about 0.9 degrees Celsius and is about 6 degrees more than normal. The maximum temperature has been recorded above 34 degrees Celsius in three cities of the state. Among these, temperatures were recorded at 35.0°C in Gurugram, 34.8°C in Sirsa and 34.5°C in Bhiwani. Apart from this, the temperature in nine other cities also remained more than 33 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in most of the districts is being recorded 5 to 8 degrees Celsius higher than normal. At present there is no possibility of rain in the state, due to which the heat may increase further in the coming days. Experts believe that such intense heat in the first week of March itself may indicate heat wave-like conditions in the future. In such a situation, people have been advised to avoid strong sunlight especially in the afternoon and drink adequate amount of water.

A significant increase has also been observed in the minimum temperature. The average minimum temperature of the entire state has increased by about 2 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day. At present the minimum temperature remains about 4.8 degrees above normal.

In most parts of the state, night temperatures are being recorded between 15 to 18 degrees Celsius. In districts like Ambala and Rohtak, the minimum temperature has been recorded 5 to 6 degrees above normal. Mahendragarh district still remains a relatively cold area of the state, although the temperature there too has reached around 14 degrees Celsius.
