Haryana Weather: Weather changed in Haryana late night, rain and drizzle in many districts

Haryana Weather: The weather suddenly changed in many districts of Haryana late Tuesday night. Rain and drizzle were recorded in Bhiwani, Hisar, Hansi, Sirsa, Rewari, Jhajjar and surrounding areas. Due to strong winds, the feeling of cold has increased and people felt mild cold.

However, on the other hand, the average maximum temperature in the state recorded an increase of about 1.7 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. At present the temperature remains about 2.7 degrees above normal.

Mercury crossed 25 degrees in 13 districts

According to Meteorological Center Chandigarh, the day temperature has reached above 25 degrees Celsius in 13 districts of the state. These include Ambala, Hisar, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Faridabad, Gurugram, Jind, Karnal, Mahendragarh, Nuh, Panipat and Sonipat.

Rohtak is hottest, Karnal has lowest minimum temperature.

According to meteorological department data, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 27.9 degrees Celsius in Rohtak. In Bhiwani and Mahendragarh also the mercury reached around 27 degrees.

The average minimum temperature has also recorded an increase of 1.8 degrees Celsius, which is 1.7 degrees above normal. However, the lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 9.3 degrees Celsius in Karnal. Apart from this, the temperature was recorded at 11 degrees in Ambala, 10.3 degrees in Hisar, 10.4 degrees in Narnaul and 12.6 degrees Celsius in Rohtak. A temperature of 13.0 degrees Celsius was recorded in Bhiwani and 11.0 degrees Celsius in Sirsa.

Weather may change again on 16-17 February

Dr. Chandrashekhar Dagar, senior scientist of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, said that the weather in the state may remain generally dry but changeable till February 16. During this period, there is a possibility of north and north-westerly winds, due to which there may be a slight drop in the night temperature and a slight increase in the day temperature.

He said that on February 16, there may be a change in the weather due to the partial effect of western disturbance. Due to this, there is a possibility of partly cloudy sky, strong winds and light rain or drizzle with isolated thundershowers on the night of 16 February and 17 February.
