Has The Night Agent Season 4 Been Canceled or Renewed?
The buzz around The Night Agent continues to grow, with fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the thrilling series. The show’s Season 3 is just around the corner, bringing new challenges and conspiracies to unravel. But fans are already on the edge of their seats, wondering if the show will get the green light for Season 4 or face cancellation.
Is The Night Agent canceled or renewed for Season 4 by Netflix?
The Night Agent continues to captivate audiences, with Season 3 premiering on February 19, 2026. The show is yet to be officially renewed for the fourth installment, but for fans awaiting updates on its future, it looks like there’s some promising news on the horizon.
The Night Agent’s Season 1 racked up 98.2 million views in just 91 days and remained on Netflix’s Top 10 list, making it a massive hit. Season 2 also performed well, with 53.2 million views over 159 days, although it didn’t quite match Season 1’s numbers. The strong performance likely contributed to the show getting an early Season 3 pickup.
Given Netflix’s pattern of renewing the show quickly, they might follow the same process for Season 4. Additionally, creator Shawn Ryan recently confirmed that the writers’ room was picked up in 2025, and several scripts are already in progress.
“We’ve been working for a while on the storyline. We have some scripts, we are breaking stories,” Ryan mentioned in an interview with Deadlineahead of Season 3’s release.
According to Netflix sources, the streaming platform is waiting for Season 3’s performance before making a formal announcement, but with a tax credit secured for filming in Los Angeles, things are looking up for Season 4.
Additionally, the show’s strong viewership numbers and 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes are likely contributing factors. Hence, production of The Night Agent Season 4 might kick off soon, potentially leading to a release in 2027.
