Hazard to the participation in BGT

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green has been forced out from the ongoing tour of England due to a back injury. The degree of his injury is still not certain, and will be assessed upon his return.
This injury might also have an impact in his participation in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India.

Cricket Australia announced that Cameron experienced some soreness after the 3rd ODI in Chester-le-Street, and initial scans revealed a back injury. This forced him to return early on to address the injury and make preparations for the series against India.

Cameron was put to rest from the 2nd ODI against England as a precaution to manage his workload. Even after this, he participated in all three T20Is against Scotland. Australia’s tour of the UK has been filled with injuries as Cameron is the fifth play that the team has lost.
