HBO Max Thriller TV Show Privileges Trailer Sets Release Date

HBO has shared the official trailer and release date for Privilegesthe upcoming French thriller drama, which takes place at a Parisian luxury hotel. Ahead of its debut, the series has also been selected for the official competition at Séries Mania in the French Series category.

“Young inmate Adèle Charki desperately accepts a bellhop position at the palatial Citadel as part of a day-release program run by the hotel’s all-powerful director, Édouard Galzain. But shortly after arriving for her first shift, Adèle is thrust into a not-so-secret power struggle where ambitious staff, influential guests, and outside networks all fight for control – turning the hotel into a breeding ground of manipulation and betrayal,” reads the official synopsis. “As her relationship with Édouard quickly morphs into something more sinister, Adèle’s grit and ambition are crucial for her survival as she fights for a chance to redeem her future.”

When is the release date for HBO Max’s Privileges series?

Privileges is scheduled to premiere on Friday, March 27, exclusively on HBO Max. The show stars Manon Bresch, Melvil Poupaud, Zar Amir Ebrahimi, Nadia Benzakour, Roxane Mesquida, Joseph Olivennes, Anne Azoulay, Mila Michael, Sandor Funtek, Stephanie Atala, Nancy Marie-Claire, and Aaron Kahn.

The thriller drama is created, written, and directed by Marie Monge and Vladimir de Fontenay. This marks Monge and de Fontenay’s second collaboration after previously working together in the 2020 series Vampires. The series is produced by Hugo Gélin for Zazi Séries. The creative team also consists of cinematographer David Cailley, composer Amin Bouhafa, costume designer Caroline Spieth, and casting director Michael Laguens.
