HDFC Bank services to be hit for 16 hours this week: Know the details

New Delhi: HDFC Bank has informed its customers about its system maintenance, which will take place on January 24 and 25. The private sector bank informed that the maintenance is scheduled for 16 hours and will start from 10 PM on January 24, 2025 and end at 2 pm on 25th January.

The lender is going ahead with its maintenance work to improve the bank’s services and ensure that the customers enjoy a more seamless banking experience. It may be noted that during the maintenance, following services will be temporarily unavailable:

  • Chat Banking on WhatsApp
  • SMS Banking
  • Toll-Free Banking
  • Phone Banking IVR

“To enhance your banking experience, we are conducting essential system maintenance from 24th January 2025, 10:00 PM to 25th January 2025, 2:00 PM IST (16 hours). It is important to note that during this period, ChatBanking on WhatsApp, SMS Banking, Toll-Free Banking and PhoneBanking IVR will be unavailable. However, PhoneBanking agent services will remain operational during this period,” HDFC Bank stated.

The country’s largest private sector bank informed that its customers will be able to use the following digital platforms for their banking queries and transactions:

4. MyCards –

During the maintenance period, cash withdrawal from ATMs using HDFC Bank debit and credit cards will be allowed.

HDFC Bank debit and credit card customers can do their transactions at in-store and online transactions within specified limits. Merchant payments services will remain working during the maintenance time. The merchants will be able to receive card payments. The bank has urged its customers to plan their banking transactions ahead of the maintenance window as it will help help them get a smooth banking experience.
