“He doesn’t deserve even Rs 27”: Fans launch scathing attack on Rishabh Pant after his duck in LSG vs RR match
Rishabh Pant’s streak of low scores is not coming to an end, with the wicket-keeper batter getting dismissed on a duck in the LSG vs RR match in IPL 2026. Fans have turned against him after the latest outing in the 19th season of the tournament. He has shown no intent so far, and his performance is costing LSG big time.
Chasing 160 in 20 overs, he tried to take on Nandre Burger, but the ball took the deflection of his bat, and Dhruv Jurel completed a regulation catch between the stumps.
Pant looked angry while returning to the dressing room in Lucknow. LSG supporters are questioning his price tag of INR 27 crore, with many predicting a sharp decline in his value after the conclusion of the season and likely release by the owner of the team.

Rishabh Pant’s unnecessary shots are accountable to his worst form , why did he select this kind of Fluck shots when you are able to score runs with normal shots across the ground ?
If he can’t fix his problems as soon as then his career will ends in the next 2 years pic.twitter.com/lNufx1oMW7

Rishabh Pant in IPL 2026:
7(9) vs DC
68(50) vs SRH
10(9) vs KKR
18(11) vs GT
1(6) vs RCB
43(23) vs PBKS
0(3) vs RR*He gets 27 scores for one season in IPL, which is a shame, performances like that don’t justify a place in even an IPL XI. He should drop himself like Gambhir did… pic.twitter.com/5WGJVREwmA
