After Himanta Biswa Sarma’s counterattack on AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s statement, he has again targeted him. On Himanta Viswa Sarma’s statement, Owaisi said that he has tubelight in his mind, he has the mentality of Pakistan. Because it is written in the Constitution of India that the Prime Minister and the President can become a person from the same community.
He said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar, who made the Constitution, had more brain than Himanta Biswa Sarma, he was more educated. The beauty of this country is that it is a country for those who do not believe in any God. Himanta Biswa Sarma’s thinking is small, hence he thinks small.

What did Owaisi say?
He had said that the Constitution of India talks about equality for all. Any person, irrespective of religion or caste, can become Prime Minister, Chief Minister or Mayor. Referring to the Constitution of Pakistan, he said that there only a person of one religion can become the Prime Minister, but there is no such restriction in the Constitution of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Himant had given the reaction
After this statement, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had given a sharp reaction and said that there is no restriction in the Constitution, anyone can become the Prime Minister, but India is a Hindu nation and a country with Hindu civilization. Therefore, he has full faith that the Prime Minister of India will always be a Hindu person.
Congress MP Imran Masood also criticized Sarma on this controversy. He said that eligibility for any post cannot be decided on the basis of religion. He gave the example of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who was a Sikh and yet became the Prime Minister of the country.

BJP also targeted
At the same time, BJP leaders targeted Owaisi. BJP spokesperson Prakash Reddy said that Owaisi is again trying to increase communal tension and only wants to do vote politics. Another BJP leader RP Singh said that Muslim women have become Prime Ministers and Presidents in many countries of the world, but they did not wear hijab. They ask Owaisi to first bring forward a hijab-wearing leader from his party.
