Head-on collision between roadways bus and Indane gas tanker on Bewar-Bhogaon GT road, many injured

A horrific road accident took place on Monday in front of Raja Bhaiyya Washing Center located on Bewar-Bhogaon GT Road. There was a head-on collision between Jaipur Depot’s Roadways bus (No. RJ 20 PB 2460) going from Bewar towards Bhogaon and Indane Gas Tanker (No. UP 17 T 9055) coming from Bhogaon towards Bewar.

The collision was so severe that more than half a dozen passengers traveling in the roadways bus were injured. Apart from this, the bus driver and gas tanker driver are also said to be injured. The injured were sent to the hospital for treatment with the help of local people.

According to the driver of the roadways bus, the accident occurred due to steering failure. After the collision, there was a long jam on GT Road for about an hour, due to which queues of vehicles formed on both sides. Police reached the spot after getting information and removed the damaged vehicles and made the traffic smooth.

The matter is being investigated by the police.
