Health of Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan improving, may be discharged from hospital soon

New Delhi. There is a relief news for the fans and family of veteran writer Salim Khan. 88-year-old Salim Khan, who was admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital for almost three weeks, may be discharged from the hospital this week. Under the supervision of doctors, his health is continuously improving and it is believed that he will return to his home in the next 3 to 4 days. After Salim Khan’s health deteriorated, there was a wave of concern throughout Bollywood, but the health of Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan improved with time and now the news is that he will be discharged soon.

Was admitted due to clot in the brain
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a ‘brain clot’ was detected in Salim Khan’s brain, after which he was admitted to the hospital on medical advice. He was taken to Lilavati Hospital on the morning of 17 February on the advice of his family physician. The very next day i.e. on 18 February, the neurosurgeon performed a special medical procedure on him, which is called ‘Digital Subtraction Angiography’. This procedure was completely successful and after this his condition remained stable.

Doctors took care of the condition without surgery
According to Salim Khan’s health update, at the time of admission, Salim Khan was completely conscious and seemed fit. However, he suffered a minor ‘brain haemorrhage’, which the doctors successfully tackled without any major surgery. During treatment, he was kept in ICU and on ventilator for some time, but seeing the rapid improvement in his condition, he was removed from the ventilator. Doctors say that age is a big factor, but Salim Khan’s recovery has been quite good.

Salman and family heaved a sigh of relief
Salman Khan and his entire family were under a lot of stress after receiving the news of Salim Khan’s illness. Now according to hospital sources and recent updates, Salim Khan’s condition is stable and on the way to recovery. If his health remains normal for the next few days, he will be discharged in 3 to 4 days.
