These things will be needed to make Lassi

  • To make this lassi, take about 2 cups of fresh and thick curd (not too sour).
  • Along with this 2–3 spoons of cold cream.
  • 4–5 soaked and deseeded dates (for sweetness) 1 tsp honey.
  • A pinch of green cardamom powder.
  • Cold water or ice, and use chopped almonds and pistachios to garnish.

Easy way to make Lassi at home

  • To make Lassi, first of all use fresh curd made from full cream milk, which should not be sour so that the taste remains good even if less sweet is added.
  • Add some cold water or milk to the soaked dates and grind them in a mixer to make a smooth paste.
  • Now add curd, date paste, cardamom powder and half the cream in a big vessel or mixer jar and mix well.
  • Be careful not to beat it for too long, just mix lightly, otherwise the curd may leave water.
  • Serve the prepared lassi in a glass or earthen kulhar.
