Such a cruel incident took place on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday in village Dhadhupar, Adaria Tola, belonging to Gram Sabha Dodo under Khajani police station area of ​​Gorakhpur district, which shocked the entire area. 40-year-old Ashok Nishad allegedly killed his own 35-year-old wife Neelam Nishad in a brutal attack with a shovel. The attack was so severe that Neelam died on the spot.

The dispute broke out over a small matter, he picked up a shovel in anger

According to the information, accused Ashok Nishad, son of Toofani Nishad, had a fight with his wife Neelam at night over some trivial matter. The matter escalated into an altercation and Ashok, rising in anger, turned the shovel lying nearby into a weapon. One fatal blow was given one after the other, due to which Neelam died on the spot. The magnitude of the incident can be gauged from the fact that the attack was extremely cruel and deadly.

The accused informed the police himself. After the murder, Ashok himself called the police instead of running away.

As soon as the information was received, Khajni police station incharge Jayant Singh took immediate action and reached the spot with the police team and took the accused into custody. The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.

Reason unclear in initial investigation, fear of family dispute

The exact reason for the murder has not yet been revealed in the preliminary investigation by the police. Bhagelu, brother of the accused, told that there was a normal argument between the husband and wife at night, which suddenly turned violent. Villagers say that there used to be minor disputes between the couple earlier also, but no one expected that it would take such a dangerous turn. The police are now carrying out a thorough investigation and are probing family background, past disputes and possible other reasons.

This brutal murder has completely devastated the family. Neelam leaves behind her 15-year-old son Suraj and 12-year-old daughter Srishti. Both the children are in bad condition due to crying. There is an atmosphere of mourning all around the village and people are shocked by this incident.
