Heartbreaking accident in Rampur! Truck loaded with straw overturned on Bolero, driver died on the spot; watch video
Rampur: Road accidents are not stopping in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. Such accidents have increased due to fog and carelessness in the cold season. Recently, such a terrible accident happened that anyone’s heart would tremble after seeing it. A truck loaded with straw suddenly overturned on Nainital Highway and fell on the Bolero moving in front. This incident happened in just a few seconds, but its result was extremely painful.
Place and time of the accident
This accident happened near the hill gate on Delhi-Nainital highway in Ganj police station area of Rampur. It was Sunday evening. A truck full of straw was coming from Bilaspur side and was trying to take a turn. Bolero was a government vehicle of the Electricity Department, on which ‘Uttar Pradesh Government’ was written. Only the driver was in it.
How did the accident happen?
The truck driver was taking the turn. Then one wheel of the truck climbed on the divider. The balance was lost and the overloaded truck overturned rapidly and fell on the Bolero passing by. The entire accident happened in just 4-5 seconds. The Bolero driver did not even get a chance to recover. As soon as the heavy weight of the truck fell on the Bolero, the vehicle was completely crushed. A biker passing by had a narrow escape.
The CCTV video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media. It is clearly visible in the video how the truck overturned and how the Bolero got buried under it. Everyone gets scared after seeing this scene.

Bolero driver’s death
The Bolero driver died on the spot in the accident. The deceased was identified as Firasat (aged about 54 years), who was working in the electricity department. The Bolero got buried so badly that the driver’s body got trapped. As soon as the information was received, teams from several police stations including Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Mishra reached the spot.
The truck was lifted with the help of cranes and JCB machines. The body was taken out after cutting the Bolero and sent for post-mortem. During this period there was jam on the road for a long time.
