Heat increases before Holi, temperature will increase by 7 degrees in North-West India

The coming few days are going to be very hot for the people living in the states of North-West India. According to the Meteorological Department, a gradual increase of 3 to 5 degrees Celsius will be seen in the maximum temperature within the next five days. This means that in areas like Punjab, Haryana and Delhi, the mercury may remain 4 to 7 degrees Celsius higher than normal, due to which intense heat will be felt in the beginning of March.

Amidst this increasing effect of heat, there is news of relief from the mountains. A new western disturbance is becoming active from the night of March 4, due to which there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir during March 4 to 7. At the same time, strong winds are expected in the plains like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab till March 3.

Condition of plains and central India

In the next 5 days, there will be a rise in temperature in Central India (Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh) where the mercury is likely to rise by 2-4 degrees. At the same time, the temperature in eastern Uttar Pradesh will increase by about 2 degrees, after which the weather there is expected to remain stable.

Talking about Gujarat, the temperature there will increase by 3 to 5 degrees in the next 4 days, whereas in Maharashtra, the mercury is going to rise by 3-4 degrees after two days.

In the coastal areas, especially Konkan, Goa and Gujarat, not only heat but also humidity will trouble people between March 4 and 7. While the heat is increasing, there is a possibility of dense fog in parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Meghalaya.

Eastern and South India

There will be no major change in the weather in states like Bihar and Jharkhand for the next 4-5 days but after that the heat will gradually start increasing.

Along with this, the weather in the southern states will remain stable for the next 3 days but by the end of the week, an increase of 2-3 degrees can be recorded here too.
