Heat vs Raptors injury report: Herro available on Thursday
The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors meet Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena in a game shaped by injuries on both sides. Tipoff is set for 7:00 PM ET, with Miami trying to bounce back after Tuesday’s 121-95 loss in Toronto.
Miami’s biggest name on the report is Tyler Herro, who is available despite right foot soreness. Andrew Wiggins is also available, while Nikola Jovic remains out with a left ankle sprain and Terry Rozier is away from the team.
The Heat also list Norman Powell as questionable with right groin soreness and Dru Smith as questionable with right foot soreness. That leaves Miami with some uncertainty around perimeter scoring and ball-handling, even with Herro expected to suit up.
Herro has been one of Miami’s top offensive engines this season, averaging 21.2 points and 4.0 assists per game. Powell, if active, brings another major scoring punch at 21.9 points per game, while Wiggins adds 15.8 points and a dependable two-way presence.
For Toronto, the injury report is lighter. Chucky Hepburn is out because of right knee surgery recovery, leaving the Raptors otherwise close to full strength.
The numbers suggest Miami will need a cleaner offensive night to keep pace. The Heat shot 95 points in the previous meeting and will likely lean heavily on Bam Adebayo, who averages 20.0 points and 10.0 rebounds, plus Herro if he is able to play through the soreness.
Toronto enters with a deep core built around Brandon Ingram, Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett. Barnes, in particular, has been a major all-around force with 18.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.
The Raptors also have the recent form advantage after beating Miami on Tuesday and owning the season series so far. They have now won all three meetings with the Heat in 2025-26, including two wins in December and the latest result at home.
Miami’s injury situation could still shift late, especially with Powell and Smith listed as questionable. For Toronto, the path is more straightforward: protect the home floor and continue to exploit a Miami team still trying to stabilize its rotation.
