Sonbhadra/Uttar Pradesh –
On Tuesday, customers who came to fill petrol in their car at GO Petrol Pump located at Paraspani under Chopan police station area, started arguing and quarreling for hours between the Junior Engineer (JE) of the Electricity Department and the petrol pump employee regarding the liter measurement of petrol.
The junior engineer in the car and the employee of Jio Petrol Pump both remained adamant on their views and kept talking to each other for hours. On information dial 112, police also reached the spot.
According to the information received, on Tuesday afternoon, Ajay Prakash, a junior engineer working in the electrical department, reached GO Petrol located at Paraspani in Chopan police station area to fill petrol in his car (Tata Sierra). After filling the petrol, an argument and altercation started with the petrol pump personnel regarding the measurement of petrol litres.
Regarding which, the junior engineer riding the car told that I had bought a new car a few days ago due to which we were going from Varanasi to Windhamganj, when on the way, the meter installed in the car of Tata Sierra company started showing petrol reserve, then we started getting the petrol tank of the car filled at the GO petrol pump located in Paraspani, where the petrol pump worker filled 50.95 liters of petrol in the car, then JE Saheb sitting in the car got hesitant.
After thinking for some time, I told the pump attendants that the petrol tank of our car has a capacity of 50 liters as stated by the Tata Motors Company and despite having a reserve in our car, about five to seven liters of petrol was left in the car. The meter installed in the car showed that about 51 liters of petrol was poured again. Now the total petrol in the car became about 56,57 liters and two to three liters of petrol can still be filled in the tank of the car, that is, how did five to seven liters of petrol get filled more when the car was started? The tank is of 50 liter capacity.
JE talked to the officer of Tata Motors about this matter, but there he was told that the car has a capacity of 50 liters, so only 50 liters of petrol can be filled, 55 liters cannot be filled. Seeing the debate and altercation going on for hours, seeing the dispute increasing, the junior engineer informed Dial 112 police, after getting the information, Dial 112 police reached the spot, explained, extinguished the oil and measured the oil with a one liter dipstick from the petrol pump, where the oil got it right
The matter was pacified by making both the parties understand. The biggest question is how to fill 56, 57 liters of oil in a 50 liter tank? This mystery could not be solved due to which the car owner was worried and the junior engineer made a mobile call to the car company concerned and complained about this matter. In view of this, enlightened people have demanded the District Magistrate and concerned officials to run an intensive checking campaign at petrol pumps.
