IPL 2025: All the teams of Indian Premier League 2025 have released their retention list. There are 3 players in the retention list of IPL 2025 who have received more than Rs 20 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad has retained Heinrich Klaasen by paying the highest price. Whereas Royal Challengers Bangalore has retained Virat Kohli at the highest salary. Apart from this, Lucknow Supergiants have retained Nicholas Puran in Moti Karam.
Heinrich Klaasen got 23 crores
Heinrich Klaasen had performed amazingly for Sunrisers Hyderabad last season. This is the reason why SRH has retained him for Rs 23 crore before IPL 2025. Sunrisers Hyderabad team was paying Rs 5.25 crore as annual salary to Heinrich Klaasen in IPL 2024, but now he will get Rs 23 crore. Apart from this, SRH has retained Pat Cummins (18 crores), Abhishek Sharma (14 crores), Nitish Reddy (6 crores), and Travis Head (14 crores).
LSG gave 21 crores to Nicholas Puran
Nicholas Puran had performed amazingly for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024. He was the second highest run scorer for LSG. This is the reason why LSG has once again expressed confidence in him. Nicholas has been retained by Lucknow for Rs 21 crore. Recall that last season, Lucknow Super Giants had bought Puran for Rs 16 crore. Apart from this, Lucknow has retained Ravi Bishnoi (11 crore), Mayank Yadav (11 crore), Mohsin Khan (4 crore), Ayush Badohi (4 crore).
RCB retained Kohli for 21 crores
Royal Challengers Bangalore has retained only three players for IPL 2025. In which the names of Virat Kohli, batsman Rajat Patidar and fast bowler Yash Dayal are included. RCB retained Virat Kohli the highest for Rs 21 crore. Apart from this, Rajat Patidar was retained for Rs 11 crore and Yash Dayal for Rs 5 crore.
