Hemant Soren government has come into action in the matter of providing employment to the youth only after the oath. In the first cabinet meeting itself, the CM directed to release the calendar of appointment examinations. After this, JPSC, JSSC will proceed with the appointment process which is already pending.
With the completion of such appointments, 50,000 youth of the state will get employment. However, the most important among these examinations are the restoration of 26,001 posts of Assistant Professors, 2025 posts of JSSC CGL, 342 posts of Civil Services Examination, 4919 posts of constables in Jharkhand Police.

The results of Assistant Professor, CGL and Civil Services examination may be released in the next three months. Their examination has been done and the candidates are waiting for the result to be published. JMM had said in its election manifesto that the appointments of teachers, excise constables, constables, clerks and other appointments would be completed in time. With this, more than 45,000 young men and women will get government jobs.
Among the eight agendas approved by Hemant Soren in his first cabinet meeting after taking oath as the Chief Minister, one of the most prominent is regarding employment. The Chief Minister has set a deadline of January 1, 2025 for JPSC, JSSC and other authorities for appointment to all the vacant posts. These authorities will have to publish the calendar before this deadline.
