Hemant Soren oath ceremony: Government is going to be formed in Jharkhand once again under the leadership of Hemant Soren. In the election results, India Alliance has got a huge majority, due to which they have returned to power again. Amidst all this, the process of formation of a new government has started in Jharkhand. On Sunday, Hemant Soren and leaders of India Alliance went to meet Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar. After meeting Governor Santosh Gangwar, Hemant Soren staked claim to form the government.

CM Hemant Soren submitted his resignation to the Governor. Along with this, letters of support from the MLAs of India Alliance were also handed over to form the new government. Jharkhand CM and JMM working president Hemant Soren said that, today we have started the process of formation of the new government on behalf of the Grand Alliance.
Today we have submitted our resignation from the present government to the Governor and stake claim for the next government. He has entrusted me with the responsibility of acting Chief Minister. During this period, in-charges of Congress and RJD also remained with us. The swearing in ceremony will be held on 28th November.
