Hemant's proponent and Sido-Kanu's descendant Mandal Murmu took membership of BJP in Ranchi.
Ranchi: Mandal Murmu, a descendant of martyr Sido Kanhu, who raised the voice of tribal identity in Jharkhand, today took membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Welcoming him at the BJP state office, party leaders thanked him for supporting the party's efforts to save tribal honor and identity.
Mandal Murmu said that BJP is the only option to save the identity and tribal identity of Jharkhand. He claimed that Hemant Soren has now become the spokesperson of the infiltrators and that is why he is opposing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Murmu expressed confidence that BJP will respect the customs and traditions of the tribal society and ensure their safety.
On this occasion, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma also made a sharp attack on Hemant Soren. He said, “Hemant Soren is standing in support of the infiltrators, due to which today outsiders are in a position to decide the future of Santhal Pargana.” Vishwa Sharma stressed that the aim of BJP is not just to win the elections but to protect the bread, daughter and soil of the tribals of Jharkhand.
Taking aim at Congress, senior BJP leader Laxmikant Vajpayee said that Congress does not even know the history of bravery of the tribal community of Jharkhand. He said that even before the establishment of Congress, under the leadership of Jharkhand's brave son Sido Kanhu, the slogan was given to the British to leave India, but the focus of Congress has always been on praising only one family.
BJP has pledged that it will make every possible effort to protect the identity of Jharkhand while protecting the rights of the tribal society.
