Israel kills Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Kubaisi in Lebanon, UN Chief in tension

Beirut: Hezbollah on Tuesday confirmed the death of one of its top commanders, Ibrahim Kobeissi, who was killed in an Israeli attack in a southern Beirut suburb that targeted three floors of a six-story building.

Let us inform you that this was Israel's third major attack on Beirut in less than a week. Meanwhile, as the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah intensifies, Kobeisi is the first member of the terrorist organization to be declared dead during the current conflict.

In this regard, Israel said that Kobeisi was Hezbollah's top commander, who was in charge of the organization's rocket and missile unit. Israeli military officials said that Kobeisi was responsible for firing rockets and missiles targeting Israel and he had plotted the 2000 attack in which three Israeli soldiers were kidnapped and killed.

Meanwhile, UN chief Antonio Guterres has expressed his concern over the attacks on Lebanon. He has said that such attacks only promote instability. The UN chief has also expressed concern over countries not following international laws and escaping these laws by attacking. At present, at least 558 people have died in the attack by the Israeli army in Lebanon. This figure has been released by the Lebanese Health Ministry. 50 children are also included in this attack.
