Hezbollah fired rockets : Israel's military announced on Tuesday that Hezbollah fired nearly 300 rockets and other projectiles into Israel, in a second day of the most intense attacks on Lebanon since 2006. The Israel Defense Forces said an explosive drone fell in Atlit, a coastal town south of Haifa in northern Israel, marking the first time a Hezbollah rocket has reached the region.

Two more drones reportedly fired at the area, but were intercepted. Fortunately, there were no casualties caused by the drones, according to Israel's rescue services. The army said most of the rockets were shot down by Israel's air defense systems.

On the other hand, Hezbollah confirmed the attack in a statement, saying that its fighters “carried out an air operation with a squadron of drones on the headquarters of the Israeli special naval task unit Shayetet 13 at the Atlit base, targeting the positions of its officers and soldiers and striking the targets with precision.”
