Hi-tech bus depot will be built in UP, great news for passengers!
News Desk. A historic moment is about to come for Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh. After a long wait of about 28 years, the district is finally going to get its first roadways bus depot. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given the green signal to this ambitious project, after which the state government has given official approval for its construction.
Modern bus depot will be built on four acres of land
This hi-tech bus depot will be built on about four acres of land behind the protest site in Vichiya village. The project will cost more than Rs 22 crore. This new depot will not only be of modern design, but will also be prepared keeping in mind every need of the passengers.

Clean and modern toilets
Comfortable stopping place for travelers
Hi-Tech Monitoring System for Bus Movement
Advanced workshop facility for maintenance
Chandauli will now get its identity
Till now Roadways did not have its own bus depot in Chandauli. Buses from here were operated from Varanasi Cantt depot, due to which passengers often had to face the problem of delay, lack of facilities and long distances to travel.
With the construction of the new depot, local passengers will get direct and easy bus services, the possibility of starting new routes will increase, employment opportunities will be created in the district, bus operations will be more organized and timely. This depot will bring great relief to the passengers not only of Chandauli but also of Kaimur and Rohtas districts of East Bihar. The buses running from here will provide better connectivity to these areas.
