During the hearing of the case, the judge first gave the order on the revision petition related to the complaint of EOW (Economic Offenses Wing). Questioning the foundation of the investigation, the court had said that till now no predicate crime has been registered by the CBI, despite this the ED proceeded with the investigation under PMLA.
