Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra got the condition of traveling abroad
bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband a businessman Raj Kundra had recently filed a petition in the Bombay High Court to go to London. The court has clarified that if the couple has to travel abroad to meet Kundra’s ailing father, they will first have to deposit Rs 60 crore or produce a bank guarantee of the same amount. This order was given during the hearing on the look out circular issued against him in a serious case of fraud.
Similar advice was given earlier also
In October also, a bench headed by Chief Justice Shri Chandrashekhar had made a similar suggestion. At that time the couple had sought permission to travel abroad for professional reasons. The court had also asked Shilpa why she could not become an approver in the case, especially when her lawyer said that she had no direct connection with the alleged crime.
Kundra’s father’s serious health condition
The petition states that Raj Kundra’s father has recently been suffering from severe iron ammonia deficiency, due to which his hemoglobin level is decreasing and he is having difficulty breathing. In terms of age, his father is 79 years old and mother is 78 years old. In view of these circumstances, the couple has sought permission to go to London till January 20, 2026.
