What do the rules say?
According to the rules of T20 cricket, batsmen can change gloves, pads and helmet only during breaks. This can only be done between overs or during official time-outs. If the material breaks or gets damaged in any way between overs, then changes can be made. Changing gloves during an over without any reason is wrong as per the rules.
