HIL Highlights: The Soorma Hockey Club returned back to winning ways as they took down Rarh Bengal Tigers 2-1 in the 2024-25 Hockey India League at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Monday.
Prabhjot Singh opened the scoring for Soorma, pouncing on a loose ball inside the circle. Minutes later Maninder Singh pounced on a rebound off a drag flick to double Soorma’s lead.
Though the Tigers pulled one back via Jugraj Singh in the third quarter, it was not enough to trouble the Soorma, who walk away with three points.
