1088 bumper recruitment of police constables is going to happen in Himachal, this is the last date

Himachal Police Cobstable Bharti: There is good news for the youth in Himachal Pradesh. There is a bumper recruitment of police constable here. Now Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced recruitment for 1088 posts of Police Constable. For this recruitment, the police has extended the last date of application to 12 November 2024. Application has to be made by visiting Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission website.

For recruitment to the post of Police Constable, candidates will have to go through written examination, physical criteria test and physical efficiency test and medical test. The date of police constable recruitment exam has not been announced yet.

There is a chance for women too

Of the 1088 constable vacancies in Himachal Pradesh Police, 708 seats are for men. The remaining 380 seats are for women constables (specialized duty).

Downed server becomes a problem

The last date of application for Himachal Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment was 31 October 2024. But due to the server of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission website being down, many youth could not apply. After which the youth had demanded to extend the last date of application. The application process for this recruitment started on 4 October.

educational qualification

To apply for this recruitment of Himachal Police Constable 2024, candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board. Apart from this, physical qualifications have also been prescribed for male and female candidates. The height of General/EWS/OBC women candidates for HP Police has been fixed at 5'-2''. The height of male candidates of these categories should be 5'-6'' and chest should be 31'' x 32''. Candidates can check the details of reserved categories from the official notification.

what is the age limit

Age Limit- To apply, the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum 26 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of January 1, 2024.

Salary- Pay Level-3 (Rs. 20200-64000/-) per month

Selection Process- Candidates will be selected for HP Police Constable through Physical Test/Written Examination/Document Verification and Medical Examination. The final merit list will be made through written examination, height and NCC certificate.

Application Fee: General/EWS/WFF/HP Home Guard/Male candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600 during application.

Whereas for SSC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates this fee has been fixed at Rs 150. Women candidates have been given fee exemption.
