Indian actress Hina Khan has shared the heartfelt reason behind donning traditional Kashmiri attire during a recent public appearance.
Earlier this year, Hina was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been keeping her fans updated throughout this tough journey.
Currently undergoing chemotherapy, Hina has consistently informed her followers about her progress. Recently, she attended a public event for the first time since her diagnosis, where numerous Bollywood stars were also in attendance.
At the event, Hina showcased a traditional Kashmiri look, wearing a pink shalwar kameez with a dupatta, which added an extra touch of grace to her Eastern style.
While many photos and videos from that day went viral on social media, Hina herself shared beautiful images in the outfit, where she looked absolutely stunning.
In her post’s caption, Hina explained the significance of her outfit choice, saying, “Kashmir, a piece of my heart. I wanted to wear the traditional dress of Kashmir on this new journey of my life, as it reflects the soul of my birthplace.”
She also expressed her joy, saying, “It brought me happiness to wear this exquisite Kashmiri attire, embellished with intricate tilla embroidery.”
Her elegant outfit was designed by the Kashmiri clothing brand ‘Tul Palav,’ and she completed her look with jewelry from ‘Tiyani Fine Jewelers’ and heels from ‘Urbans Way.’
