“Late last year I shared with my family, friends and our team that I was deciding to close Hindenburg Research,” founder Nathan Anderson wrote in his message. As soon as the ideas we decided to work on and our objective have been achieved, we are today deciding to close our company.

Anderson became emotional…

Anderson recalls his early struggles, “At first I didn't know whether it would be possible to find a satisfactory path. It wasn’t an easy choice, but I was naive to risk and quickly became attracted to the work.” I doubted whether I would be able to do it. I had no experience in this field. I don't know how to dress right No, I'm not a superhuman who can function on 4 hours of sleep.

I was ignored: Anderson

Nathan wrote that I was a good employee in most of my jobs, but in most of them I was neglected. When I started this job I had no money and as soon as I walked out the gate I got sued 3 times and the money also ran out. Had I not had the support of Brian Wood, a world-class whistleblower lawyer, who took up the case despite lack of financial resources, I would have failed at an early stage.

Serious allegations against Adani…

In the year 2023, Hindenburg published a report accusing Indian billionaire Gautam Adani. It said, 'Gautam Adani, the world's third richest man, is committing the biggest fraud in corporate history. Adani has manipulated the share prices of his companies. The price of their shares has been increased by 85 percent of the original value. Adani's relatives launder money by running shell companies abroad.” Due to this report, Adani's shares fell and he also dropped out of the list of top 30 billionaires. At that time the people of India had become familiar with the name and work of Hindenburg.

What is Hindenburg Research?

Hindenburg Research is an American investment research firm founded in 2017 by Nathan Anderson. On May 6, 1937, the Hindenburg airplane crashed in Manchester Township, New Jersey, killing 36 people. Nathan believes the 'man-made' tragedy could have been avoided. Nathan named his firm Hindenburg to expose such man-made corporate fraud and malfeasance in today's world.

Nathan Anderson's journey

After graduating in International Business from the University of Connecticut in the US, Nathan Anderson worked in a data research company. During that job he learned the intricacies of the stock market. He realized that many things happen in the stock market, which are beyond the understanding of common people. This is where he got the idea to start his own research company and expose the frauds of companies around the world. He left the job and founded 'Hindenberg Research'.

This works Hindenburg

The Hindenburg Research firm researches stock markets, equities, credit and derivatives and reports to the world if a company is found guilty of wrongdoing. It tries to find out whether money is being misused in the stock market. Are big companies mismanaging their accounts for their own benefit? Is a company unfairly betting its shares in the stock market by causing harm to other companies for its own benefit? After extensive research on such an issue, Hindenburg prepares a detailed report and publishes it.
