Historic performance by Indian girls, won T20 series in Australia for the first time

New Delhi. India defeated Australia by 17 runs in the third and deciding match and won the series 2-1. Indian women’s team created history with this victory. Team India has won the T20 series for the first time on Australian soil. In the third match played in Adelaide on Saturday, India scored 176 runs for six wickets in 20 overs with the help of half-centuries from Smriti Mandhana (82) and Jemimah Rodrigues (59). In reply, Australia could score only 159 runs after losing nine wickets in the stipulated overs. In this match, Shri Charani and Shreyanka Patil took three wickets each for India while Arundhati Reddy took two wickets. Whereas, Renuka Singh took one wicket.
