Hit horror films from the Maddock Supernatural Universe to re-release in theaters ahead Halloween

Bollywood’s horror comedy genre has seen a number of highly successful films in recent months. Three films from the Maddock Supernatural Universe will reappear in theaters ahead Halloween 2024. These are Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, Sharvari and Abhay Verma’s Munjya, and Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree.

According to the post, from October 25 to 27, 2024, Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya will be re-released in a few theaters in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, It, and It Chapter Two, and other Hollywood productions will also be shown in theaters.

The caption read, “Get ready for a hauntingly good time as the Halloween Marathon comes to your city! Delhi, Noida, Pune, Mumbai, Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad – book your tickets for the epic horror movie marathon from October 25-27 at PVR INOX.”

The first film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe will be Stree which was first released in 2018 and starred Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film is set in Chanderi.

On Independence Day in 2024, the follow-up film Stree 2 was released. The battle continues against Sarkata, a headless monster, this time. The film turned out to be a blockbuster.

Varun Dhawan’s 2022 movie Bhediya features a shape-shifting werewolf with amazing capabilities. Meanwhile Sharvari and Abhay Verma starrer Munjya came out earlier this year. The film, which was directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, was well appreciated by viewers.
