The International Hockey Federation had already announced the pools and now the schedule of the entire tournament has also been released. This time both men’s and women’s teams of India are participating in the tournament and both have got a place in Pool-D.

India and Pakistan in the same group

Along with the Indian men’s team, Pakistan hockey team is also included in Pool-D, due to which the fans will get to see an exciting match. The match between India and Pakistan will be played on August 19, on which all eyes will be fixed.

India’s campaign from August 15

The Indian men’s hockey team will start its campaign from August 15. The team has to play all its group matches at the Wagner Hockey Stadium in Amstelveen. India will face Wales in the first match, after which there will be a tough challenge against England.

Special feature of knockout format

A total of four groups have been formed in the tournament. After the pool stage, the top-2 teams of Group A and C will go to Pool-E, while the top-2 teams of Group B and D will go to Pool-F. Only after this the path to the semi-finals and finals will be decided. The semi-final matches of the men’s category will be played on August 28.
